I teeter between optimism and pessimism when it comes to mankind.... as a whole, I view society and humankind as hopeless and ego-driven with the potential for all imaginable evils in this physical existence, while individuals, on the other hand... have the potential to band together for a positive vision of hope and higher consciousness. Man always has and always will impose his will on nature, and that's part of the potential evils of which I speak... however, it could also be positive. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction... it's the laws of the universe... Yin and yang. Good and bad. Conscious and Unconscious. Ego and Shadow. etc. etc.
